Hire me for…
Birdy Conservation things
If you’re interested in conserving birds, I’d love to help. Clients include Oxford University, Jeremy Clarkson and Daylesford Organic. Projects tend to begin with relevant bird surveys, followed by proposals that I can project manage or hand over.
If you’re a landowner, hire me to consult about farmland bird conservation.
If you’re a property owner or developer, hire me to consult about urban birds.
If you’re in the media, hire me to energetically bang on about birds.
Public Speaking
Past speaking events include solo events about my books, swift conservation and my campaign, as well as wider political conservation topics, in various formats from solo events and interviews to workshops and panels, at places such as the The House of Lords; The Natural History Museum; Global Bird Fair and Oxford University. Literary Festival bookings include Hay Festival; Oxford Literary Festival and Bridport Literary Festival.
Talks range from what it’s like to be a naked campaigner to evidence-based information about bird conversation. Themes cover resilience, leadership, overcoming adversity and more… Talk topics can be tailored to a demographic or agenda and can be specific or broad.
Writing
For writing commissions or collaborations, please get in touch with your proposal. It doesn’t have to be about birds. I write articles (for publications such as Country Life and the British Wildlife Journal) and books as well as ghostwriting and developing books, working on memoirs such as Anne Glenconner’s best selling memoir, Lady In Waiting; Norman Scott’s book about the Jeremy Thorpe scandal, An Accidental Icon, and the Duke of Marlborough’s memoir, The Duke That Rocked.
